Listening schedules for input to UK trade agreement

November 20, 2018 – The U.S. International Trade Commission (USITC) has announced that it will hold listening sessions across the United States to gather information for use in its upcoming report to the U.S. Trade Representative concerning trade-related barriers that U.S. small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) experience when exporting to the United Kingdom.

Specifically, the USITC is seeking information from U.S. SMEs on trade-related barriers that they believe disproportionately affect their exports to the UK, as compared to larger US firms. This particularly interests the Commission, considering the uncertainty caused by the approaching March 29, 2019 withdrawal of the UK from the European Union.

As an America SME, you are invited to participate. A schedule of on-scene listening sessions includes the following cities and dates:

Chicago: Tues., Dec 4 San Diego: Tues. Dec 4
Cleveland: Wed., Dec 5 Los Angeles: Thurs. Dec 6
Pittsburgh: Thurs., Dec 6 Houston: Mon. Dec 3
Boston: Fri., Dec 7 Dallas: Tues. Dec 4
Seattle: Mon., Dec 3 Louisville: Thurs. Dec 6
San Francisco: Wed., Dec 5 Charleston SC: Fri. Dec 7
