One possible take on Brexit

October 22, 2019 – One of our readers commented on Brexit. “We are down to the last nine days on Brexit. PM Boris Johnson did a smart thing when Parliament forced him to ask for another delay on Saturday. The forced request was unsigned, accompanied by a signed letter saying don’t grant the delay—echoing France’s Macron.

Boris Johnson

This forces Parliament to vote the BoJo deal, or Brexit with no deal, by Oct 31. Our guess is they just may approve the deal, Then, the US can put in place a quick UK bilateral trade agreement. And that provides additional leverage when the US turns to EU trade next year.”

It’s all in the hands of Parliament now.
